What is a prize category?
Each lottery player, in addition to the Jackpot, has a chance to win one of the lotteries’ secondary prizes. Each secondary prize corresponds to a particular prize category that is the amount of money that the player will get when matching a certain number of balls.
The prize category is indicated as follows: 0+1PB, 1+1PB, and so on, where the first digit indicates the number of regular balls, and the second digit — the number of special balls that need to be matched to get the win. All winning numbers must be matched in a single line!
The following lotteries have special numbers to match: MEGA Millions, Powerball, SuperLotto Plus, EuroMillions, EuroJackpot, El Gordo, SuperEnalotto Superstar, and Powerball Australia. The rest of the lotteries haven't got specific numbers to match, so their prize categories are always presented on our website as follows: 3, 4, 5, etc.
The bonus balls Complementario (La Primitiva and BonoLoto), Jolly (SuperEnalotto and SuperEnalotto Superstar), as well as the number Reintegro (La Primitiva) are also taken into account when determining the secondary prizes and the Jackpot. These balls and the Reintegro number are indicated as follows: C, J, and R.
The lotteries presented on our site have a different number of prize categories. The winning amount for each prize category differs from draw to draw depending on the prize fund and the number of winners.
