How to win in La Primitiva?
The Spanish lottery La Primitiva has six prize options: 3, 4, 5, 5+C*, 6, 6+R**. The prizes are determined individually after each draw depending on the number of winning entries and the prize fund. These rules don't apply to the Jackpot because its amount is always defined in advance.
To get the lesser La Primitiva prize of category "3," it's necessary to match only three regular balls.
*5+C — five regular balls matched + Complementario
**6+R — six regular balls matched + Reintegro
What is the bonus ball Complementario?
After drawing the paramount combination of 6 regular balls, the additional ball Complementario is drawn among the remaining balls. In case of coincidence of any five regular numbers and Complementario, the lottery participant holds the second important prize of the category "5+C."
On the "Results" page of La Primitiva, the number of the bonus ball Complementario is put in green.
What is the Reintegro number?
To win the La Primitiva Jackpot (the prize tier "6+R"), the player needs to match all six winning numbers. Besides, the Reintegro number in his entry should match the additionally drawn Reintegro number.
Reintegro is a randomly generated number in the range from 0 to 9, which is automatically assigned to each La Primitiva entry upon purchase (i.e., the player doesn't pick this number himself).
If the player matches the combination of 6 winning numbers, but the Reintegro number in his entry doesn't match the Reintegro ball drawn, he is assigned category 6 prize, which is the first large after the Jackpot.
Lottery entries matching the Reintegro number receive € 1.00 compensation per line played regardless of whether they are winning or not.
On the "Results" page of La Primitiva, the Reintegro number is put in yellow.
