About Lotto 6/49
Lotto 6/49 has been taking place in Canada since 1982. This is one of the two state Canadian lotteries and the first lottery which allows the residents of the country to pick their own numbers for the draw as before they were printed on the tickets in advance.
The record Lotto 6/49 Jackpot of C$ 63,400,000 million was divided among four parties in 2013. The starting Jackpot doesn’t fall below C$ 5,000,000 and goes up with every draw by C$ 2,000,000+ if there is no winner in the previous draw until it’s drawn.
The draw of the Canadian lottery takes place every week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 21:00 ET in Toronto.
49 regular balls are drawn in Lotto 6/49.

How to win in Lotto 6/49?
7 prize categories are defined in each draw of the Canadian lottery Lotto 6/49: 2, 2+B, 3, 4, 5, 5+B, 6 (the number of regular balls matched + the Bonus Ball matched). The amount of all prizes except the Jackpot is determined directly after the draw depending on the number of winning tickets, and the total prize pool.
To win a minimum prize of the category "2" in the Canadian lottery Lotto 6/49, you need to match at least two regular balls.
When 43 balls are left in the drum after selecting a combination of 6 winning numbers, one more ball (Bonus Ball) is selected from the remaining balls. In case of coincidence of any five regular numbers and the Bonus Ball, the player receives the second important after the Jackpot prize of the category "5+B". The Bonus Ball also impacts on the prize category "2+B".
On the "Results" page of Lotto 6/49 the number of Bonus Ball is marked in green.
