Lotto 6/49: get the best of it all!
About Lotto 6/49
Lotto 6/49 has been taking place since 1982. The game is one of the two Canada's national lotteries and the first lottery allowing the country's residents to pick numbers in a lottery slip. Previously, number combinations were pre-printed and couldn't be chosen.
The game's record Jackpot of C$ 63.400.000 was shared between four lucky winners in 2013. The starting Jackpot doesn't fall below C$ 5.000.000 and goes up with each draw by C$ 2.000.000+ if there is no winner in the previous one until it's scooped.
The Canadian lottery draws take place every week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 21:00 ET in Toronto.
Forty-nine regular balls are drawn in Lotto 6/49.
The official lottery site can be viewed at this link.

How to win in Lotto 6/49?
7 prize divisions are established in each Lotto 6/49 draw: 2, 2+B, 3, 4, 5, 5+B, 6 (the number of regular balls matched + the Bonus Ball matched). The amount of all prizes except the Jackpot is arranged after the draw depending on the overall number of winning entries and the total prize pool.
To gain a minimum award in the Canadian lottery, you need to match at least two regular balls (prize category "2").
What is a Bonus Ball in Lotto 6/49?
When 43 balls are left in the drum after selecting a combination of 6 winning numbers, one more ball is picked from the remaining ones. If any of five regular numbers and the Bonus Ball match, the player hits the second prize of the category "5+B". The Bonus Ball also impacts the prize tier "2+B".
On the "Results" page of Lotto 6/49, the Bonus Ball is marked in green.
